I'm a writer and editor who specializes in food and cooking.
I like turning cravings into recipes and ideas into stories.
My first jobs were at an alt-weekly newspaper (in Portland, OR) and the cookbooks department at America's Test Kitchen (in Boston). I've worked for a daily hyper-local news website and a sous vide start-up, a paleo restaurant and a vegan cheese company. I've helped write a James Beard Award-nominated cookbook with a Michelin-starred restaurant in San Francisco and am working on another with a vegan chef in Oakland. Formerly the editor-in-chief at a Southern food website, I’m currently the content manager for emerging brands at H&F Bread. You can also read my work every week in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. I'm an expert project manager and general get-things-done-r. Learn more about my experience here and download my resume here.
I live and work in my hometown of Atlanta with my husband and psychotic dog, Nellie Mae Scraps Williams. I spend all of my free time rock climbing, both indoors and out.
Come hang out with me.
