About

I'm a writer and editor who specializes in food and cooking.

My first jobs were at an alt-weekly newspaper (in Portland, OR) and the cookbooks department at America's Test Kitchen (in Boston). I've worked for a daily hyper-local news website, a paleo restaurant and a vegan cheese company. I've helped write a James Beard Award-nominated cookbook with a Michelin-starred restaurant in San Francisco and Bryant Terry’s award-winning Vegetable Kingdom cookbook. Formerly the editor-in-chief at a Southern food website and the culinary director for Alton Brown, I currently develop content for Anova Culinary and write a weekly column for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. I'm an expert project manager and general get-things-done-r. Learn more about my experience here.

I live and work in my hometown of Atlanta with my husband, daughter, and spirited dog, Nellie Mae Scraps Williams. I spend my free time rock climbing, both indoors and out.
