The through-line of my career has been recipe development. My first “adult” job was in the cookbooks department at America’s Test Kitchen, where I was a contributor to several books. I moved on to freelance development and cookbook testing for several years before landing at Alton Brown’s Good Eats. After producing content for three seasons of television, I transitioned to the food and technology world at Anova Culinary, where I currently work as a senior content editor. There I perfect recipes for our three connected devices, a sous vide cooker, a combi smart oven, and a chamber vacuum sealer. In addition, I write a regular weeknight cooking column for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and occasionally contribute cover features.
